The position was excellent and the hotel was spotless. Quick and easy access to the rijksmuseum...

the staff was great, our room was excellent, besides proximity to rembrandtpark was a big plus. the hotel was in a beautiful location and suited our needs. good breakfast selection. take a look at oud west neighborhood, it's worth it.

It was like a home away from home. Staff (only two of them) were warm and friendly, efficient, helpful and very prepared to put themselves out for us. Our very early morning arrivals and departures were not a problem, staff were there to greet and farewell although reception did not open until 9am. Breakfast was not included but for €12.50 was provided in the most beautiful dining room and the breakfast provided was magnificent. The rooms were beautiful - large, lovely furniture and very modern bathroom. Nespresso machine provided and capsules included without addition charge as was the fresh milk I asked for. Sensible tourist advice was provided and staff bought tickets on line for us which meant no need to queue at some of the popular museums and galleries. It is situated in the most beautiful, upmarket, safe and quiet part of town, but really close to everything walking, or if needed the tram runs past the door. I would stay nowhere else in Amdterdam!

Everything. Wonderful stay! Sabine is a great host and her passion for Amsterdam is infectious. Museum suites is delightful, special, romantic, affordably luxurious, clean, spacious and generally exemplary.
-
The room was gorgeous, just like in the pics and the facilities, coffee maker etc. were great. In terms of location you are 2mins walk from Vondelpark and right on the number 2 tram route into the centre of Amsteram which runs about every 6mins until after midnight so very easy to get around. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to offer their advice on places to see etc.
-
Location, safe friendly neighbourhood with excellent dining and entertainment within walking distance. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with everything from timing museum visits to carrying luggage up the stairs of this beautiful canal house. Great coffee. Personal sevice.
-
the location... quiet street very close to the Museums with easy access to the tram. Wonderful and warm staff. Beautiful newly redecorated rooms. Very comfortable!
-
when you pay by credit card they ask for a 2% comission, it is not important in terms of money since it is only 2% but it isn't mentioned anywhere during the booking and seems a bit cheap - considering you are paying a couple of hundred for a night.
-
Convenient location; nice and spacious rooms, stylish decoration. Staff friendly and efficient. Wifi and expresso machine in the room for free. Wouldn't rate it 10 of 10; but overall it was a pleasant stay.
If you on the top floor, be ready to drag your suitcase all the way up very steep and narrow staircase. There is no airconditioning; so if the weather is warm enough and you stay on high floor, it can become quite hot in the room. And, you can't keep windows opened in the night, because of street noise. Also, I wouldn't mind having bathtub for this type of property and price; not only shower cabin. No lobby/reception area at all.

The facility is very high quality. The room (Rembrant) was beautiful. High ceilings, fireplace, updated bathroom, very spacious and elegant.
Wash clothes and remote control for the tv was missing from the room on the last night - coincidence? While the facility was excellent sometimes I felt like I was too much like a house guest. I would probably prefer a little more privacy.
-
the location was lovely - very close to the museum's and good cafes/ bakeries. the room was very spacious and has a nespresso coffee machine. the staff were very helpful and friendly
nothing except there are lots of stairs to get to the top floor!!
-
Great location, wonderful service. Tram # 2 runs right in front of hotel, there's a supermarkert and great restaurants very close, within 1/2 a block or so. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is terrific about answering questions.
Only drawback is many places in Amsterdam offer breakfast, even a modest one, but Musuem Suites does not, at least not without additional charge. There are good places close by, but at least coffee and croissants would work, especially since Musuem Suites charges quite a bit for the rooms- something to keep in mind when booking. Also there are a number of stairs, and no lift or elevator, not uncommon in Amsterdam hotels. We're in fairly good shape and the stairs got to us after awhile.

Everything was great - location and also very nice room.
Lack of privacy. The Van Goph suite has a balcony which they say is private however it is also shared by the laundry room!! So in reality the staff can look into your bedroom and overhear you. They need to think about relocating the laundry room!!

Helpful staff, quiet location, nice apartment.

Fireplace, spa bath, space, heated tiles! and cosyness. Easy and quick taxi to airport.
Far from main train station (cant walk it) It was hard to find, even the taxi guy wasnt sure when he arrived at the hotel. Needs better signage for a boutique hotel.
